Black End Table

Black End Table - before and after...

Here is another beautiful piece that we have finished and I think it turned out great. It was quite beat up when we got it but I loved the lines and features of the table. I wanted to keep it semi rustic so we went with a black finish that we distressed to highlight its shape and style. It turned out better than I thought it would. Trust me, you will love it too!!

Latest Project: Charming Blue End Table

Before and after...

Here is our latest project. We refinished this beautiful end table with a great baby blue that highlighted all of its incredible features. We updated the pulls by replacing them with these gorgeous black stamped pulls. They add such a dramatic contrast to this table. I think it turned out great!

Matching Headboard - Before and After

Isn't this headboard beautiful. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw it. I knew I wanted to refinish it and freshen it up, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Then we decided to redo the toy box and I realized that this would look amazing in a kid's room.

So, we finished it in the same color as the toy box. Now you can decorate your child's room without spending a fortune. This headboard will brighten up and change the look of any room. It is finished with a country hand brushed finish, which adds character and charm. It will fit a standard size twin bed frame. You and your little one will love it!

Great Kids Toybox - Before and After

This is our girls toy box that Corey built about five years ago. (Back when my oldest was still little. That went by too fast!!) It has made it through countless toys and climbings and still is in great condition. It is indestructible! So, since it still looks so good, and since the girls don't even hardly play with the toys, we decided to downsize and sell the toy box. But first we gave it a makeover. What do you think? I think it turned out great!!

Here it is! All done up. Doesn't it look fabulous!! Perfect for any room, boys or girls. The bright green is so popular right now and the black lettering is so cute and really stands out. I know you will find it indestructible too, not to mention a great colorful and functional addition to any kids room. It measures 49 1/2" W x 28" T x 17 1/2" D. It features a deep box area for toys and additional shelf space for books or displayed items. (unless your kids are like my kids and they just put the toys anywhere, as you can see in the first picture) I have loved this toy box, it has made it so easy for my kids to keep all their toys in one place and not all over the house. I know you will love it to!

More past projects

This is our basement bathroom that we finished almost two years ago. The room was so narrow that we couldn't fit a standard vanity along the wall without the door hitting it. So we came up with the idea of making our own. What do you think? I love it!

There is not a lot of room for storage but this shelf on the bottom adds character and space for some baskets. The turned legs were left over from a cabinet shop that we picked up for a deal.
We decided to add storage by building this shelving unit to put next to the vanity. I don't even have near enough things to fill it, but I love the way it turned out.

Say what you want to say!

This is one of my favorite ways to decorate. I am a sucker for vinyl sayings, what can I say. The best part about these is that they are portable. I can move them anywhere instead of putting them on the wall and then changing my mind. (which I do a lot, it drives my husband crazy)

If you have vinyl that you can't decide what to do with, let us help. We can make it into a showpiece. Or if you've always wanted something to say and just haven't done it yet, we can help.

Or, we can frame it out for you. I love this frame that Corey made. The saying was cute before, but it really stood out once he framed it. It just completed it and added so much style. A frame is an easy way to make your items POP!

Crates, crates & more crates

I just wanted to show you more cute ideas for these fabulous crates. It is one of our favorite things to build because they can be used for anything, and they are such a unique way to display or store items. This one is over the toilet in my bathroom.

These crates we built specifically to show off my canning abilities. The crates definitely turned out better than the canning.

This cute crate sits on my dining table and holds my napkins, which looks like I need to refill. It makes a great functional and unique centerpiece. At Christmas time I fill it with scented pine cones and sparkly ornaments.
